Trip day sketch

Walking around the V&A I was inspired to do some sketching. The gallery is full of these wonderful  stone and marble statues, I sat down and did a short charcoal sketch of one of them that particularly caught my eye at the angle I was placed. It is unfinished but after closing my sketch book, of course it printed on the other side of the page. Seen as the lady who is portrayed in the statue is facing away, I liked the effect the print made on the opposite page, as if she was ashamed in her body language.
